The long vowel sound

“ee”

As you know we have the short “e” sound as in “egg”, or “elephant” or “tent”

💛This time we are going to learn the long “ee” sound.💛

 

If I put two e's together it makes the sound “ee” as in “bee” or “tree” or” teeth”!

👀There are two main ways to write an “ee” sound.👀

Remember: “When two vowels go walking, the first one does the talking.”

This is another way to spell the long e sound, as in “eat” or “tea”, “teach”.

Now, let's read the words carefully and write them down in the right place.
