Some super fun ideas to practice phonics!

Here are some super fun ideas to practice phonics with things we have at home. Send us a photo if you try any of these super activities!!

For example like this:

idea #1: water! take out a card and write it with water on the floor! (with your hand ✋, a paintbrush 🖌️  or a sponge 🧼)

idea #2: sensory bags! take out a card and write in a Ziploc bag filled with rice 🍚 , sprinkles , flour, sugar 🧁 with a stick, pencil or your hand ✏️☝️

 

idea #5: collect some leaves! 🍂🍃🍂 pick some leaves from your garden, put them in a pot and write the letter or tricky word over it with your finger or a pencil. You can cut them if you want.

idea #4: letter hunt! after writing the tricky words and letter sounds in a paper, we are going to put a transparent pot on top and some sugar or flour in it... and look for the letter sounds!

The most important thing is to have fun!
